The Blaire is a timeless, gladiator-inspired sandal. Crafted from soft, PU-coated hydro leather uppers in a black colourway with a matte finish on top of a lightweight ripple effect sole. Features a moulded footbed.

- Hydro is a smooth-to-the-touch PU-coated leather with a matte finish.
- Adjustable straps
- Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with DMs signature welt stitch

I have quite flat feet which is usually a problem for me with sandals, yet these have a built in arch which is comfortable and makes my feet look better in them. I also am 5’3” so I appreciate the bit of height I get from them. They are stylish too and jazz up almost any outfit.. could be worn in summer alone or in colder times with socks/tights. I have only worn them once but for quite a long time and I did get one blister, however I think after a bit of wear they’ll be absolutely fine. I also wore them for quite a lot more walking than you would usually wear a pair of sandals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mollyoflafal from SIZE DOWN I luckily read reviews in advance which recommended to size down, so I got a size smaller than my usual size and they are still a fairly loose fit. This isn't an issue though the loose fit of the straps is great because strappy sandals can hurt a lot and the straps across the foot dont rub at all. In true dr marten fashion you will have to wear them in so buy them with time to spare so you can break them in. But they are absolutely unreal and so happy to have these after lusting after them for ages! This is also a great price for them.

I have average sized feet In terms of width and feel that the third strap back looks especially loose but I don’t think anyone else would notice it. They did give me a couple of blisters around the ankle strap at first but after a few wears they’re absolutely fine. I’m usually a size 5 or 5 1/2 and went for a size 5. 4 would have been too small. They’re lighter than I expected and the quality is good plus, they go with everything! Overall, a lovely, good quality sandal.

These are a little more than I usually spend on sandals but I decided to invest in a pair of chunky sandals and I know Docs are great quality having bought lots of boots over the years. I am not disappointed! These are so comfortable, stylish and will last for years. I noticed people saying they are bigger made, they do look bigger given the style but if you have normal to wide feet, I’d just go for your usual size rather than sizing down. You’ll have a bit room. Love them! Great with dresses and jeans

Rated 5 out of 5 by Claire Luna from Great Quality Sandals I bought these sandals 2weeks ago. And like most Dr.Martens footwear I've bought, I was not disappointed. They are so pretty, comfy, durable and really good material and as always the lovely bouncy soles, thatf feel like your walking on air. Well worth the money. I'm a UK size 4, and read the reviews that these sandals are on the larger size. I still went ahead and bought my usual UK size 4, they fit perfect. A looser fit around the foot were the straps are and I have average width sized feet, but I like the less tight fit. Do give you the odd blister around the back and side were the straps are, for say maybe the first week. But to be expected with most new footwear. Persist, because once these sandals are broken in, they are perfect footwear for the warmer weather. Claire

Martens sandals before I had to read reviews for sizing as they are known for being bigger than the boots....I chose to size down and glad I did. These sandals are known to rub when worn especially around the ankle so I wear my straps loose to start with just till they soften up more...other than that these are the best sandals I've ever owned and have had them on my feet every day since they arrived! And I'm planning to buy another colour.

Then I saw these and thought I would give them a try and they are amazing and the best style I can actually wear something on my feet that are comfortable and so practical too. I have not had any form of shoe on my feet for 1 year untill I tried these and I have not looked back these should be definitely in the orthotic magazine as I would highly recommend these for comfort and stability and practality too well worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by jadeg93x from Blaire sandals I highly recommend sizing down in these particular style shoe, I ordered my usual size 6 but they were far too loose/wide. The 5 fit perfectly on the width of my foot, however the straps are slightly loose (I do have narrow feet). These are going to take some breaking in as the ankle strap is quite stiff. Not heavy at all, I thought they’d be quite heavy on your feet but they are so light. Lovely shoe, I’m yet to find out how comfy they are once they’ve been broken in.
