Dr. Martens Serena 8 Eyelet Boots Black Leather

Rated 2 out of 5 by Olivia Jane from So uncomfortable but praying they'll wear in! I was sooo excited for these to arrive, put them on and the part that goes over the top of my feet is super tight! I have other styles of docs and have never had a problem before, I'm not sure if it's the lining that has made it so snug over the top. There is plenty of room everywhere else but it literally feels like it's cutting off my circulation every time I wear them. I was hoping they would wear in but I'm not having much luck so far and it's making me avoid wearing them. Super disappointed but still hoping they will become more comfortable as they are such lovely boots!

Very comfy so far and look really good with the fur If you wish to wear boot socks with these maybe go up half or full size as they’re quite snug with the fur Leather is also soft so will likely scuff easier so maybe invest in some boot polish to keep them nice and protected against the rain and damage First pair sent were faulty so had to return but got a replacement which had been quality checked. Sent a free replacement without question and received 6 days since sending back faulty pair which is great. But fault should have been picked up beforehand

Rated 5 out of 5 by Purpleamethyst from So comfortable I have worn the classic 1460 smooth boots and they have been killers, so hard to break in...but great once that’s over with. These fur lined ones don’t require breaking in, they are soft straight out the box. I have them in size 5 and these are true to size, I wasn’t sure whether to get them in a 6 because of the fur lining but they must have accounted for that. The leather is matte black but you can shine them up easily with normal polish if you want to add another layer of protection. I polished them as they did scuff after one wear. The soles really are ‘bouncing’! They feel springy and comfortable. The fur isn’t on the heel but is everywhere else, Which is maybe why they don’t rub. They’re super warm for winter! I’m so pleased with these.

Despite the price tag, my prompt to order these was a long weekend booked in Bratislava - with temperatures at -3 I was determined not to suffer cold feet! As well as being complimented on my 'on-trend' footwear I can report total success for my fur lined Docs in both the snow and wet weather we had there - so I'm now a true convert and totally confident that my boots will keep my feet toasty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LaraN from Absolutely in love Did a lot of research and didn't want the originals as I've read they're super tough to break in due to the leather being quite stiff. I went for these as they're softer and I liked the idea of furry lining for the upcoming winter. I made the right decision. They're so comfy and gorgeous. They look great with everything too. I'm a 4.5 and bought 5 which are a perfect fit.

They are really soft inside and keep my feet warm, I’m outside a lot so this matters!! I had heard dr martens can be painful before they are broken in. These were ok, the tongues did hurt but it didn’t last long. They are true to size and good quality. I love wearing them.

I've worn them with both a dress and skinny jeans I'm 30+ so not just for the young ones
