Rated 1 out of 5 by L0uise from Really unhappy Unfortunately I have been sent the 'narrow' rather than 'regular' width birkenstock madrids. I have been wearing this style of birkenstock for many years and have bought several pairs over the years. After wearing the pair I purchased from you I couldn't understand why they felt so uncomfortable. After doing some research I have come to understand that the narrow/regular fitting difference is offered, however this was not stated in your listing or product description. The reason I buy this particular style so often is because they are so comfortable. I'm really disappointed. I would be very happy if I could exchange them for exactly the same style & size but the regular fitting, could you organise this for me please? Many thanks, Louise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Olivia 29 from Great sandals!! Very comfortable sandals, I've used the Birkenstock sizing tool to make sure I choose the right size. It was recommended I size down and they fit perfectly. They mould to your feet and are super comfortable around the house and out. Can be dressed up and down easily. I've ordered them in Birko black, vegan alternative to leather. The only thing to watch out for is that they aren't particularly wide - my feet are on the slightly narrower side and I'm using the widest hole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PD Ldn from Very happy I am a UK 6.5 and my sister has birkenstocks so I was able to ask her about the fit - she advised me to size down rather than up, so I got a size 6 and they're perfect. Very comfy, although having worn these for a couple of outings, I've come to the conclusion they're for short trips only! With one bar they're obviously a little less secure than most shoes, so can chafe a little after a half hour walk. Perfect for a trip to the shop/pub at the end of the road though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sticky from Comfortable I bought these sandles as I was so sick of buying cheaper ones and then them breaking. Last year I had so many that broke or wore down or made me slip when my feet got hot and sweaty. As soon as I put then on they fitted amazingly ,wedged into the groves giving my arch and the bottom of my foot a snug fit ! There will be no slipping around in these I can assure you,you won’t want to take them off!

Rated 4 out of 5 by EmmyW from Nice classic Birkenstock CG massive Birkenstock which fits nicely (adjustable width is handy) and the black literally go with everything. However, the classic foot moulding doesn’t align brilliantly with my foot so feels a bit odd, but I’m sure I’ll get used to them. Bought for wearing in the day for a holiday to Cornwall but think I may well (unexpectedly) end up wearing the Solillas flats I bought from here more.

This year they had to go... so a new pair was purchased. Great price from Office and seem to be made to the same quality as my previous pair. As with all Birkenstocks they are moulded on the sole so takes a while to get used to them but a comfy wear

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tumble from Simple & sensible I have only worn them for a few days but I feel they are wiser for my feet / posture & walking than flat pumps that I have previously worn daily around the house . I will be looking to get good comfortable closed shoes for the colder weather from Office / Birkenstock as the delivery service was faultless .

Wrong! The picture clearly shows regular fit shoes and I didn’t read the description (why would I, the picture clearly shows the hollowed out footprint of a regular fit shoe?).
