Rated 4 out of 5 by L Yorkshire from Waterproof / vegan alternative to Birkenstock leather sandals First impression of these are that they are remarkably light and, because they are made of plastic, they don't feel quite as comfortable as the equivalent cork and leather sandal. However, they are fantastic for use where they will get wet as they seem to be unaffected by water. I have worn them for a week now over rough terrain, rocky shores, beaches and in and out of the sea; and they have not been damaged. Much more robust than you might imagine. I am very pleased with them.

Be aware - there are men fittings and women's that aren't mentioned at all when you buy.I'm a 7 women and my size 9 son has got them and they fit him lovely! so men pay 50p less and believe it or not a men's size 7 is actually a 41 EU and in Birkenstocks that really means a large size 8! Yes I'm confused too

I have wide, flat feet so find it extremely difficult to find summer shoes that don't rub and give me blisters, but since getting these I've basically lived in them!! They need a little wearing in but after the initial discomfort they're like wearing nothing, so light and soft and even when it gets hot they allow room for my feet to swell. For a person who has spent whole summers with blisters and aching feet they are a dream come true!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maxiesmum from Black EVA Birkenstocks Arizona 2 strap Having already a pair in white, wanted a different colour. They are comfier that the original Birks imo. They are a narrower fit as well which suits me, so bear this in mind if you are a wide fitting. I wear them all year round in the house, in the garden and by the pool/beach. You can even paddle in the sea with them being waterproof. More colours please. Would definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MaryN from Happy! Stylish, comfortable, good fit for my husband. (Size 11 were too big and had to be returned.) This model is very light and made of synthetic materials. We hadn't realised that in advance. Half the price of the cork/leather version in the same style; not so comfortable but good for wet conditions and for those wanting to avoid animal products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rhianna from Love, looove I've always been a bit funny with sandals and how much of my toe is shown etc, I chose to wing it and order these in a 4, even though I'm usually a 5 and they are PERFECT!! I love them so much I haven't stopped wearing them since they arrived, (earlier than expected may I add). Great value for money and so comfy and light.

Sturdy foam straps and a rubber sole, no blisters and have been great walking around in heat on holiday. Only worry is they might not last as long as the leather Arizona’s, but definitely great for now!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tino1266 from Very light Birkenstocks I bought the sandal a few days ago and I thought they look very nice in the online pictures, but to be honest I didn’t like the feel of the of the sandal materials used when I tried them on. They are very light, but I prefer the traditional cork base and that leather feel. So returned them the following day.
