Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m Matilda, a 23-year-old textile artist based in London. I balance a full-time job with creative projects like sewing, upcycling, knitting, and crocheting. Additionally, I run a monthly Crochet & Knit club to offer a third space and connection opportunities for creatives.
Your proudest achievement of 2025 so far?
As I was inspired by my community, I returned to knitting after a break and successfully completed my first wearable sweater!
What are your top tips for styling Converse?
I recommend staying stylish while being authentic. It’s great to experiment with colours and textures. Ultimately, it’s about how confident you feel in your fit.
For instance, I love pairing low-top Converse with flares and high-tops with flowy skirts.
Let your accessories reflect your personality too, whether it's boho, minimalist, or chic.
What trends have you been into lately?
I’m currently obsessed with colourful claw clips and scrunchies, as well as mini golden hoop earrings and minimalist jewellery.
For clothing, I prefer washed denim jeans, asymmetrical tops, maxi skirts, and knit cardigans.
How does your personal style reflect you?
My personal style shows my flexibility as I don’t stick to one style.
My fit is based on how I feel each day, which is why I rarely plan outfits in advance.
Sometimes I adopt a minimalist look to highlight an accessory, while other times I mix textures for a more stylish statement. Ultimately, I value comfort and self-expression in my clothing.
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Zara, and I’m a Filipino stylist who was raised in Liverpool and am now based in London. I’ve been styling for two years and working in creative production for about a year. Styling has always been a passion of mine—it started simply as a passion, long before I ever thought of it as a career. I remember waking up early before school as a teenager, trying on different clothes from my (and my mother’s) wardrobe and experimenting with new combinations just for the joy of it. It wasn’t until after I graduated from law school that I truly gave myself the chance to pursue fashion properly. I think what held me back for so long was fear—the fear of failing and not living up to other people’s expectations of me. But finally setting myself free from the box I had placed myself in was one of the best decision I’ve ever made. Now, I see creating as something innate, and I view creativity as a gift from God, who I believe is the original Creative. For me, it’s something extremely valuable, inspiring, and worth honouring in everything I do.
Your proudest achievement of 2025 so far?
My proudest achievement of 2025 has been helping build a creative community with my friends, called 'Our Story'. What started as a small idea among a group of church friends who happened to be creatives has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. At first, it was just a humble page where we shared short-form cinematic podcasts discussing topics like relationships, creativity, faith, and more—content that we felt carried a meaningful message.
Over time, OurStory became more than just our story; it became a space others could see themselves in too. Today, we’ve grown to over 6,000 people in our online community, built partnerships with recording studios, and even hosted two sold-out events featuring guest artists. Most valuably, we’ve had the chance to meet people from the community in real life and admire how creativity has connected us all.
What began as a few friends simply celebrating art and content has blossomed into a vibrant creative community—one rooted in shared values, encouragement, and the belief that our gifts are meant to inspire and serve others.
What are your top tips when styling Converse?
Converse's minimalist yet timeless design makes it so they can be styled with almost everything. However, here are some of my top tips for when styling Converse (Chucks to be specific):
i. Use proportions to your advantage: One of the best things about Converse, especially Chucks, is their shape. They’re not overly chunky like some sneakers, but they’re also not super slim—they sit right in that sweet spot of being sleek yet substantial. Because of this, the way you style your proportions should reflect that same balance. If you’re going for oversized or baggier pieces on top, balance them out with something more fitted on the bottom so the shoes don’t get lost in the look. On the other hand, if you’re wearing slimmer silhouettes, pairing them with a looser jacket or wide-leg pant creates contrast that keeps the outfit interesting while still letting the Chucks anchor everything. The goal is harmony—matching the versatile form of the shoe with an outfit that feels equally balanced and intentional.
ii. Don’t be afraid to explore with color: Chucks are versatile and classic, which makes them the perfect base for adding pops of colour to an outfit. In a world that can sometimes be dull, even small touches of colour can make things feel brighter. I love using pastels or brighter shades when the rest of the outfit is neutral—baby pink adds a soft, feminine touch, while red or yellow keeps the look lively and interesting. These pops of colour make a neutral outfit feel exciting while letting your sneakers remain the perfect foundation for your style.
iii. Play with contrast: I love how Chucks let me mix things I wouldn’t normally pair together. Even though they have a streetwear vibe, their classic shape makes them surprisingly easy to dress up. I like wearing them with skirts, dresses, or more elevated pieces to create a fun, unexpected contrast. That mismatch is what makes an outfit feel intentional and playful—a feminine dress with a laid-back sneaker, or delicate touches alongside a streetwise edge. It’s all about finding a way for an outfit to feel cohesive, full of personality, and never too predictable.
What trends have you been into lately?
I usually stay a bit cautious with trends because I like my style to feel personal rather than just following what’s popular. But every now and then, a trend comes along that really sparks my interest—and lately, it’s all about patterns. I love seeing how people are getting creative with mixing prints in bold, unexpected ways. I’ve always had a soft spot for classic leopard print, but now tartan, polka dots, and stripes are everywhere, and it feels so fun and fresh. I’ve also noticed silver jewelry making a strong comeback, which I love because it adds a cooler, edgier, and more polished feel to an outfit. For me, you can never go wrong with a pair of silver hoops—they instantly give a look a youthful, effortless vibe while still feeling stylish and intentional.
How does your personal style reflect you?
My personal style blends streetwear with a more elevated, feminine touch, mixing different worlds to create outfits full of personality. I especially love experimenting with combinations that, on paper, might not seem like they would work—but in practice, they come together in a way that feels effortless and unexpected. It’s that playful tension between contrasting pieces that makes styling so exciting for me, and it’s how I build looks that feel truly my own. I often start with neutral tones as the foundation of my outfits, but I always like to introduce a pop of color. This is something I credit to my Filipino heritage, growing up surrounded by vibrant, tropical hues, which taught me the importance of colour in bringing life to a look.
Equally important to me is proportion. I pay close attention to silhouettes, making sure each piece flatters and complements my body, especially being on the petite side, so that my outfits feel balanced and intentional. I also think about the finishing touches—how my hair is styled, the makeup I wear, and the accessories I choose—because an outfit isn’t just about the clothes. Accessories like a baseball cap, an oversized handbag, or a pair of hoop earrings are staples in my wardrobe; they keep the look feeling fresh, youthful, and effortless, while also tying the outfit together. By taking the time to consider each element, I feel like my style stays playful, elevated, and uniquely me.

Your proudest achievement of 2025 so far?
Can I say being part of OFFICE Hours? This is such a big moment for me! Getting the chance to work with two major brands on something I’m so passionate about definitely wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card. I’m beyond grateful and proud of myself for the work I've been putting in over the years.
(( if she cant say that))
I’d have to say getting my digital camera! It’s been a long time coming, and I’m so happy I finally invested in one. It’s been exciting discovering all the possibilities in the digital world and experimenting with new things and there’s so much more to learn.
What are your top tips when styling Converse?
I have no tips other than - dress how you want! They literally match with everything so you can be authentically yourself when styling. I love adding charms and socks which have a cute little detail when styling mine.
What trends have you been into lately?
I love mixing vibes together. Contrast - think sweet and dainty with a bold street look. Like a oversized football tshirt with a frilly skirt. Or a baggy pair of jorts with a cute girly corset - I’m here for this!
How does your personal style reflect you?
My wardrobe mirrors who I am - a mix of my tomboy, sporty roots and the softer, more feminine side I’ve grown into. My style is a way of expressing these two opposing sides of my personality and bringing them together into a cohesive whole.

I am SCARLET, I am an independent artist, producer and songwriter from South East London.
Your proudest achievement of 2025 so far?
I released my debut EP, 'Glorified Daydreams', earlier this year in May - which included a music video compilation for every song as well as a film, which we had a screening for in Mile End on the day of the EPs release. Making that whole project independently and with my best mates was a really special achievement which I haven't fully processed yet haha. Through that project we built a little community of really talented people who I am so lucky to call my friends and we continue to work together whether it is through my artist project or for other artists or just for fun.
What are your top tips when styling Converse?
Make it fun! Converse has always been a symbol of non-conformity and rebellion so do not conform while wearing a pair of Chucks, it's blasphemy!
What trends have you been into lately?
I honestly feel like trends are so wishy washy, because everything is 'trendy' now. I personally don't like to even think about what's trending at the moment and just do what I want - nothing groundbreaking ever happens from following a trend, do your own thing.
How does your personal style reflect you?
It changes day to day, depending on how I feel when I wake up or what the weather is like. My style constantly contradicts itself and I think that is the perfect representation for who I am - constantly changing and contradicting who I was the day before.
