Recently modern fashion has bridged the gap between gender with most favouring a simple, androgynous style. Taking inspiration from both sexes, this minimal look encompasses boxy silhouettes and oversized shapes, create a uniform, utilitarian look. Modern minimalism is here to stay with 90s style logos being a key feature, make sure to have a couple of monochrome logo t-shirts at hand as they are easy to dress up or down.

Women can play with tailoring a lot more, adding oversized shirts and blouses but keeping a hint of femininity with sheer, gauzy fabrics. Block heels and boyish lace ups are the key styles to pair this with and will help you keep a refined, capsule wardrobe.

Men too can play with fabric choices, mixing large wool overcoats with soft cashmere knits in subtle feminine colours such as peach and mint green. Similar to the girls a pair of premium, leather lace-ups or a slick Chelsea boot are best worn with this style.

Fabrics are key to this trend as it is a wearable look, based largely on wardrobe basics. Playing with textures and flashes of animal skin effect can add a premium edge to the simplest of looks..

With retro influences taken from the late 60s/early 70s, The Graduate references Harvard college style with its preppy style and 'geeky' twist. With a strong autumnal colour palette of rich burgundy, pine green and brown the trend keeps it classic.

For the girls, tan and camel leather boots are
best paired with pleated skirts and slim roll neck jumpers and a touch of leopard print adds some Studio 54 glamour.

For the boys, American heritage boots like Redwings or Timberland look great with turned up indigo jeans and a smart wool overcoat.
