Converse is promoting #SPARKPROGRESS. The latest campaign is dedicated to London’s creative
community, particularly women who are changing our urban landscape. These inspiring ladies are Ama Lou, singer, songwriter & film-maker from North London; Paria Farzaneh, London based Iranian menswear designer; Lava La Rue, singer, skater & artist from West London; RAYE, singer & songwriter from South London; and Feng Chen Wang, Chinese-born, London-based menswear designer.

Raye is no stranger on our Shoe Diary, as she has been featured with Converse for One Star in 2018. We get to see another side to his performer, as this South London star shares the ups and downs of her career. Raye is one of London’s shining stars. From her experience at the BRIT School to fighting her way into the UK charts as a teenager, Raye has become a star on her own terms. Believing that there is “nothing stronger than girls supporting girls”, that fierce woman-positivity is what makes her shine.
