Described as highly refined, and a little bit distorted – the #Converse ‘Run Star Legacy CX’ silhouette is a fresh design for the legendary brand😮💨.
This legacy sneaker takes inspiration from the #Converse archives, incorporating exaggerated elements from the classic Chuck Taylor in a new form with its bold lines and all-day CX comfort to ensure round-the-clock wear.
To celebrate the launch of the ‘Run Star Legacy CX” and #Converse going back to its music roots, we collaborated with industry stylist, Milena, (@mil3na_) and Hair and Makeup artist Karla, (@karlaqleon) who are both making waves within the music industry. The pair met on set of musician Pink Pantheress shoot and they’ve “been friends ever since” 💕.
Taking to a studio in Hackney, East London we captured the girls in their natural habitats to evoke the creative energy on a working set. Milena and Karla both served in front and behind the camera, producing the lewks and HMU on each other for a full circle shoot!

When pulling the looks for the shoot, Milena “wanted everything to be really bright and clash-y and quite kitsch”.
Above, Karla wears the ‘Black’ with a print mesh top and midi skirt for a y2k vibe. Milena wears the ‘White‘ with an embossed croc biker jacket, vintage basketball T and cargo pants. Obsessed😍.
The reimagined chunky sole and diamond rubber outsole provides improved flex and traction for a tech inspired dimension to this other-worldly trainer👽.
Although the silhouette is chunky n funky, its super lightweight thanks to its PU CX sock liner. Cloud 9 vibez☁️.
A popped collar and stretched canvas tongue create a futuristic take on effortless elevation👏.
