Rated 5 out of 5 by chloe103 from Comfortable and easy to break in! I’ve had docs before that have been extremely uncomfortable even after multiple years of wear. Since I’m between sizes I was a little apprehensive on buying in case they would also be too painful, however these fit absolutely perfectly! The platforms aren’t too heavy and it already feels pretty well broken in only after one wear. I’m usually a UK Women’s size 6.5 and decided to size up to a 7 as my size 6 docs are far too small, this seems to work perfectly. Only issue is the straps are a little tight and need a few extra holes put into them which really isn’t too bad!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tucksy77 from No from me I just can’t make these work - they’re SO uncomfortable, and I own around 40 pairs of DMs. They’re very deep but a fairly standard width, so wearing socks makes little difference to the gap under the toe box - putting an insole in makes them too tight across the first part of my foot but the toe box is still large. Smooth leather is notoriously hard to break in, but I wouldn’t be able to make these work without a LOT of effort, and I wanted to wear with tights but the shape of my foot just doesn’t work for these.

Really trendy and great quality shoes that will surely last a lifetime. I was able to size down a half size and they fit perfectly. They are really comfortable with great foot support and they don't feel too heavy at all. Really love these shoes and I can see why they are always in demand.

I did however, have to get extra holes punched in the buckles though because they wouldn't fasten properly over the top of my foot. They were either flipping off my feet or just wouldn't fasten - but the extra holes helped! They go with EVERYTHING!!! Buy them NOW! Lol *lovestruck eyes*

I had the same issue as other reviewers in that I couldn’t do them up as there were not enough holes punched into the strap. This was easily resolved with a cheap leather punch bought on Amazon. Sorted! A really good investment :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by ZJWA from Seem to be faulty Bought a pair of these and the buckle on them broke send them back. Repurchased them and the sole isn’t fully stuck down. I have several other pairs of dr martens and this is the only style I have problems with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by schmannable from Cute but not very comfy they are cute, high quality mary jane-oxford hybrids, but they are uncomfortable. Im 37.5 & I sized down as it’s recommended for dr. martens, so that might be the case. However, bethan shoes feel like bricks 🙃
