Rated 5 out of 5 by from Edgy and tough looking boots with a feminine twist I’d been after a pair of lace-up boots with a bit of a chunky (but still comfortable) heel for a while... I’ve always loved doc martens and had a second hand pair but didn’t feel they suited my short legs and shapely calves because of where they hit on me. Then I saw these boots, which have the perfect platform and heel and a much more feminine and fitted shape and I was in love! They did not disappoint, I’ll be wearing them non stop for sure :) I just hope they don’t take too long to break in, so far it’s only been the bit above my ankles that have been a bit sore, no blisters or anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally in love These boots are just the best as a big dr marten fan I can honestly say the quality of these are just amazing tough edgy boots these will literally last a life time however they are very heavy on the feet but you will get use to them they are extremely comfortable no breaking in needed and they fit true to size when unboxing them I thought they was going to be massive but they was perfect the heel size is perfect for all day wear not to high not to low just a lovely comfortable size

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No need to break in! So pleased I got these as I've been wanting some black DMs for a while now, and love the added height on these. They're super comfortable to wear and don't need the dreaded breaking in period like standard DMs do - no blisters at all! Only reason it's not a 5* is because of how heavy they are - definitely makes walking that little bit more of a workout on the legs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE These boots were supposed to be my Christmas present but I love them so much I had to convince my boyfriend to let me wear them beforehand! I love Docs anyway, but find with some styles (patent and canvas) are hard to break in. Docs are notorious for cutting up your feet while easing into the leather, but these are honestly the exception. The leather is softer than my other pairs, and I hand on heart have received no blisters whatsoever from these boots. Having bought 3 pairs of Docs, all of which cut my feet up for the first few weeks. The usual advice is to wear them every other day to allow your feet to recover. The design is slimmer than your OG style, so expect a narrower fit. They are true to size, though. SO. SO. COMFY. And they suit pretty much any clothing. I love them so much. Buying a pair of DMs is an investment and I know I'll be rocking these in 5 years time. Timeless style, and dripppping in the sauce!

I have inserted an insole however as they are quite deep, now extremely comfy, wore them to walk around the Christmas markets all day and they felt fine! In store I tried on size below and it was far too small so I'm glad I bought my actual size. Received so many compliments - in my opinion much trendier than the original style!

I thought breaking them in would be a lot worse than what they were. The staff at the office store in Trafford centre were so helpful & friendly.
