Rated 4 out of 5 by Rogerfp from Very comfortable sandals BUT the sizes are way different to the normal I've just bought these and are very happy with the comfort and quality BUT beware of the sizing. Whatever size guide Birkenstock are using it bears no relation to shoe sizes as we know them. I'm normally a size 9, but for summer shoes worn without sox I buy size 8/8.5. I first purchased size 8 of these sandals and they were massive. Measuring against other shoes they were a large size 9. I sent them back and ordered a size 7, which fortunately matched up with all the other size 8 summer shoes I own. Happy now but it still cost me £2.50 to send them back for something that I think the manufacturer or retailer should address.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Foot loose from Worst sandals I’ve ever had I bought this and they arrived very quickly which was great as I wanted them for a holiday where it would be hot. I tried them on and they appeared to fit and feel comfortable. However as soon as I lengthened my stride my food would eject from the back of the shoe. No matter how tight or loose I had them this would be the same result, which negates the whole purpose of any footwear as they simply slid off every time. I ended up taking them off and prefer to walk around bare foot than wear these. Next time I will get a pair with a strap around the heel to keep them on.

My feet measured 26cm on the chart, but since I’m between sizes I went for a 26.5 which is a 41 or uk 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The straps are adjustable and they are so comfy it’s like walking barefoot. Very happy! I had my last pair of Birks for 8 years so I imagine these will last a very long time too

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fernpow13 from Very nice colour. I bought these shoes a few weeks ago after I had worn my other Birkenstock’s to death. I absolutely love this brand of shoe. The leather of the straps is very comfortable and does not rub. The sole is a bit hard to begin with but just needs to be worn in a bit. Overall a great replacement for my old shoes that I’ve had for years.

Sturdy and definitely a ‘well made’ feel. They are a little ‘hard’ straight out of the box and the moulding for your sole is initially a little odd but am confident they’ll soften with age.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dabse from Summer comfort Living in the south of France I spend half the year in sandals- and have failed to find any shoes that come close to Birkenstocks for both comfort and practicality. I can lounge, work, drive and walk the dog whilst my feet remain cool and comfortable. The best, sans doute!

I’m normally a uk 10 so got a 9.5 as a friend already said go down a size but going down 2 sizes is stupid. Having to pay to return these flippers is annoying.
