Every February we are treated to the music extravaganza that is The Brits. This year, the award show celebrated 40 years of showcasing British musical talent. As per usual, the show included a star studded line up of performances. As brilliant as each and every one of them were, one thing we couldn’t keep our eyes off were the shoes! Stormzy’s gang in the adidas Superstar
Stormzy performed a powerful medley of hit songs from his new album Heavy Is the Head. As well as bringing out Burna Boy, there was also a huge ensemble of dancers that shared Stormzy’s stage. The crowd of performers brought an unparalleled energy to the performance and they were all decked out in adidas Superstars.
Lewis Capaldi in Vans
Lewis Capaldi belted out an emotional live performance of ‘Someone You Loved’. To mirror his stripped back performance the outfit was also kept simple. As much as we would have loved to see some of his insta-selfie sunglasses accessorising this look, clean black Vans did the trick and were definitely a more stylish choice for the Scottish singer!
Mabel in Timberland
Winner of British Female Artist of the year, Mabel belted out her hit Don’t Call Me Up to open the show. The colourful performance was filled with movement and Mabel rocked it in a pair of classic Timberlands!
Lizzo’s gang in Dr. Martens
Body positive Queen of pretty much everything, Lizzo graced The Brits stage with a supercharged performance of her greatest hits. While she bossed that stage in an iconic shell body suit, her dancers really brought the party stamping it out in Dr.Martens boots!
