The sudden drop in temperatures is enough to keep one in doors, but with current winter trends so easily accessible, we’re in the mood to show off our winter selects. That being said, it can be a little overwhelming in the styling department of how to pair the perfect ensemble, we turn to street-style for sought after combinations and are always left inspired. This season we’re looking for those statement looks that set you a part from the rest (no shame in wanting to look the best) and we’re crushing on bare legs, chunky knits and silk skirts. Grunge yet cute
The Grunge trend has been fully adopted by the high-street, and we are convert too. When we speak of grunge, we mean biker boots, cleated soles and black leathers. These tough boots pack a hard-core punch, but when dressed with feminine dresses or tailored suits, they make for an on trend piece. Whilst the weather may suggest tights are needed, the bare leg is favoured.
A statement knee boot
The revival of the knee boot- the simmering silhouette trend that we now simply cannot get enough of. Knee boots are back in action, and need to be styled in statement materials, such as animal prints or bold colours. This calf length shape suits silk skirts, tailored suits and the bare leg (again). White it out
White boots are still a popular trend. When we were first introduced to this bold yet minimal colour, some were fearful of being too 80s, however, times are changing and we have ‘fashionably’ adapted. Pair your winter whites with mid length skirts, chunky knits or pastel coats, and you’ll be set for owning the title of ‘trend setter’.
