With the first snow falling, that Coca Cola Christmas advert and pretty, twinkling lights when the sun goes down, we’re feeling rather festive.
Some of the guys from HQ paid a visit to London’s biggest Christmas market, Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Admittedly we were besotted with the sweets, the pancakes, the chocolate apples… Ok we loved all the food! But after a lot of lingering around the sweet treats we finally managed to make our way around, although we do advise you give yourself a few hours *cheeky smiles*.
The German themed market allows you to feel somewhat outside of the hustle and bustle of London. With log cabins, thrill seeking rides and a constant infusion of mulled wine dominating the air, we didn’t want to leave.
We highly recommend the pancakes, we did play it safe with a Nutella classic, but there are many sweet and savoury options.
Either way, you won’t be leaving hungry!
With a circus, ice skating ring and many rides, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. We braved a fair few, including the spinning swings, taking you far off the ground. Even though we were pretty scared, we did get a gorgeous view of London.
Plus, once you’re done, Oxford Street is just a brisk walk away. Perfect for Christmas shopping.
