I'm Megan Ellaby from the fashion and lifestyle blog www.pagesbymegan.com
and I've been challenged by Converse and Office to style up two pairs from their Holiday Nudes Collection. This is my first of the two posts so stay tuned next week for the second instalment, I really hope you enjoy and find some style inspo for how to style your Converse in your city.
So let's get started with some trend chat hey?
Neutrals are all the rage this season having littered global fashion week's alike. Whether that be hues of whites, creams, tans and browns, if it's neutral, it appears we shall take it!
And with the highly anticipated Holiday Nudes collection in Office stores this month, what better time than to style my neutral kicks up for you in my hometown of Manchester.
First up I decided to tie in the whole neutral cream shade of these Lo-tops from the collection with a sheepskin bomber jacket, just to keep the whole look really cool and really rather street-wear inspired. When styling, I really like to find that one common theme within a look and this time it's of course that cream shade that travels through from the trainers up to the bomber jacket.
Sheepskin is another key trend for the season ahead so that, teamed with the neutral shade makes this look a must have for this autumn/winter, plus with the whole leather of the trainers combined with the sheepskin, it's my ultimate textured combo, something I love experimenting with at this time of year.
When putting this look together I really wanted the footwear to do the talking so teamed them with wide leg cropped jeans, this way they were shining loud and shining proud. I also really love the contrast of the cream shade when set against the fish net tights that I layered underneath the jeans. This just adds a really fun and interesting styling touch to the look and is something somewhat unexpected when it comes to styling up Converse… Yes people they look BAD ASS with tights too.
Finishing off the look with some simple accessories; my beloved baker boy cap and a cross body bag for the ultimate city cool look.
What do you think?
I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on how I've styled my oh-so-fabulous and oh-so-versatile Holiday Nudes. Stay tuned for next week's styling post for a rather exciting take on styling these beauties *SPOILER ALERT* There's a lot of colour ;)
