Keds has been around since 1916 and is best known for its fantastic range of all-American plimsolls. Here’s a bit of insider’s gossip for you – apparently its traditional rubber soled shoes gave rise to the American term ‘sneaker’, because the rubber sole allowed people to sneak around.
