The Christmas Season is a great opportunity to catch up with friends & family. Ice Skating, Zippos Christmas Circus and an Ice Bar are just some of the options as well as the traditional fun fair rides and live music there’s no way you won’t feel the Christmas spirit.
A slightly more romantic evening could be spent ice-skating around the courtyard of Somerset House. With it’s huge Christmas tree standing central to the rink you won’t be able to help yourself. They also put on club club nights allowing you to skate around the rink with style. Open until January there’s plenty of time to get yourself down there.
If Birmingham is your city then you’ll know comes alive every winter with the arrival of the largest German Christmas Market outside of Germany and Austria. With over 120 stalls there something for everyone.
Manchester is home of Europe’s largest walk-in Christmas tree.The tree is 90 ft. high and weighs 18-ton, features more than five miles of fairy lights with 100,000 bulbs, 1,000 of the are the same size as a football. Set up in Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, visitors can step inside the huge tree and marvel at the internal illumination and festive Christmas scene. Imagine that!
