One the most glamorous nights an A-lister will attend are the Golden Globes. A night where actors and actresses are recognized for their achievements within the film and television industry. This year’s 74th annual Golden Globes were hosted by Jimmy Fallon and took place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Many actors including the amazing Meryl Streep, who was honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award attended and everybody made huge effort to impress on the night. No matter whether they were actors, actresses, models,or reality T.V stars the ball gowns were out and the red carpet was waiting.
Floor length gowns were a popular choice amongst the women which meant not only could they have been wearing trainers underneath (I mean, why not) but their dresses did a lot of the talking. When your outfit speaks volumes it’s always a good idea to tone down the shoes. Heeled sandals and simply court heels are perfect for this. Evening gowns will drape the floor anyway so don’t feel the pressure to wear a super high heel. Feeling glam starts with you and how comfortable you are. Check out full range of occasion shoes here.
You loved it and we loved it. Here’s the run down of what 2016 looked like and what to expect this coming year!
Pastel tones were a huge hit last year and thankfully for those of us who have filled our wardrobes with all shades of nudes and pink, this trend isn’t going anywhere! Feminine features such as delicate embroidery and studs will be seen on ankle boots and flats this year. A lovely way to add some subtle detail to an outfit. Velvet will also continue to make huge impact this year creating a feel of luxury to those everyday outfits. Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect from us this year. Be ready, its going to be awesome!
