Competition winners’ exclusive screening of Love, Rosie with Suki Waterhouse

Tuesday, October 21st, 2014

On Saturday the lucky winners of our Superga competition came to London to the private screening of Love, Rosie, hosted by model and actress Suki Waterhouse.

Screened in The Hospital Club, an exclusive, members only venue, the winners got some great pictures with her and had a catch up before they went in to view the film in which she stars.

In honour of this romantic film, you can still enter the competition to win a trip for two to the city of love, Paris.

Sugar Coated Plimsolls

Tuesday, June 17th, 2014

We first got a taste of candy coloured sportswear when it graced Chanel’s  SS14 catwalk in Paris, emphasizing the sports luxe style in pastel perfection.

Pastels are starting to dominate our summer wardrobe and some cute fondant coloured plimsolls will look great at the beach, on a city trek or at a summer event and these milkshake colours even compliment some tanned pins. Pair some crochet Superga 2750’s with a girly smock dress, silver Air Max 1‘s with some light denim or dress down some tailored coordinates with a pair of mint green Converse .

It’s hard to believe that Superga is almost 100 years old. Born in Turin 1911 the Superga factory, under the stewardship of Walter Martiny, started to produce shoes with vulcanized rubber soles and the Classic Superga 2750 Heritage style was born!

After the war the Superga reopened with a new mission, a mission to bring high quality footwear to the people of Italy. Having established the 2750 as the People’s Shoe of Italy Superga increased it’s product line and added technical sport shoes the City collection, Country rubber rain and outerwear boots.

The 2750 has been an icon from the beginning. Long a favorite for taking Italians from the city to the beach at weekends. It’s ubiquity demonstrates its ease and comfort. The shoe that can be dressed up or dressed down. And just like your favorite jeans can be washed to create your own vintage look.

The 2750’s low cut style has an open lower cut ankle with finished inseams inside the shoe. Designed to perfectly complement the foot, it is an elegant sneaker that looks relaxed and well dressed whether worn at the beach or at the office.

Superga celebrates the fun lifestyle of the 2750 by offering a wide range of colors, fabrics, and prints each season for women, men and children. We keep the best selling lines in stock and easily available throughout the year.
