Nike and Liberty of London join forces again for Spring Summer 12. Not one to disappoint, this collaboration fuses the pioneering sporting technology of Nike and the intricate prints of Liberty of London effortlessly with a few twists to the tale.
The new collection is formed around key Nike silhouettes; Cortez, Air Max 1, Free 5.0 and the all new Dunk Sky High.
All of the trainers in this exclusive collection are adorned with Liberty’s 20th Century take on the traditional paisley. It first appeared in their collections in the 1940’s and was revived in the 90’s. Since we have been having a bit of nice weather recently I thought I would take the time to ask a couple of our lovely ladies from head office to tell me what sandals they were after this SS12 and why.
Tassy - Stock Control: Havaianas Top Metalic flip flop ‘Well I don’t really like to wear bright coloured sandals, but I do love to mix matte black and grey with hints of shiny silver. That’s why I will be wearing the Havaiana metallic flip flop in silver this season. They go with everything and are unbelievably comfy. The perfect summer sandal if you ask me.’
Jeni – Ladies Buying: Comfort Sandals Black Leather ‘I constantly change up my look so I need a sandal that will go with whatever I decide to wear this season. I really like the 90’s grunge style at the moment so the comfort sandal in black leather is perfect. The simple cross over strap detailing gives them a classic look that I will be able to transfer to loads of different styles.’
Amy – Ladies Allocator: Narnia Plait tan leather
‘I don’t really like sandals with bits in between my toes. I have been on the look out for the perfect ones for a while, so when I saw the Narnia Plait in tan leather I instantly knew they were the ones for me.
