We can’t wait for 51st State festival on at Trent Park on Saturday 7th August, where we will be reporting live, showing you the latest in festival style. So far this festival season we have seen the IT crowd go Old Skool in Converse, Reebok classics and Adidas Superstars. Wear your trainer of choice with ripped boyfriend jeans for a relaxed all day look or go for a vintage tea dress and Superstars combo for a new take on girly grunge.
The fun won’t just end at Trent Park though, look out for the after party at Ministry Of Sound. Hosted over four rooms featuring Roger Sanchez, Karizma, Spoony, Pied Piper, Norris Da Boss Windross, The Heatwave, DJ Cartier and many more, it promises to be an all-night party of house music’s finest.
What will you be wearing?

Unlike most festivals this summer, British Summer Time wasn’t a complete washout which meant most people left their wellies at home.
The sunny weather really set the mood for the day, people were in good spirits and it was smiles all round. The first act to take the main stage was dj Jamie XX who’s feel good anthems had the crowd buzzing.
The festival goers kept it casual in reliable Converse and DM’s, among the more fashion conscious were western style boots and designer trainers. Some brave revellers were spotted in Birkenstocks but just before American rapper Kendrick Lamar hit the stage a huge downpour ensued and I bet they were wishing for their Hunters.
Florence and the Machine headlined in a sheer pale blue dress, the sun setting an appropriate backdrop to her whimsical tunes. What a day – now on to the next one!
Every month we bring you the hottest shoes straight off the press.
In June, our fabulous Mia Mid Heel was featured in the Sunday Times Style. The Reebok Classic in Lilac Ice looked great in Grazia. Our Americana high block heel looked gorgeous in Red Magazine, whilst the Air Force 1 rocked in Vogue.

Here at OFFICE we have sent a spy to the streets of NYC to document the latest in street-style trends from this season’s fashion week. The avid fashionistas have braved the cold to display their diverse choice of style, in particular, footwear. Kim K has clearly been channelled this season as heels are out in force, for a similar look try our trusty On Tops in the summer shade of hot pink or our sleek pointed Pitch mules in black leather.
Getting from show to show can be tiring, a comfortable shoe is paramount, trainers were evident this year, our minimal Libra oozes cool. Ankle boots have smoothly made the transition from winter to spring, pair our Cockney with culottes and a bomber for the ultimate IT girl look. It wouldn’t be spring without some pastel hues, our Vendetta in mint combines a feminine shade with boyish brogue detailing.
Finding the perfect shoe for going out-out with the girls can be tough especially when it is hard enough deciding what clothes to wear.
To help get you in the party mood and ready for the weekend, the girls in OFFICE HQ have selected their top statement shoes for the season that will go perfectly with your glam outfit.
Points are the go to style and a wardrobe staple for winter. Wear a vampy style like the Strobe or Scorpio with a low backed dress and a fluffy clutch bag for the ultimate screen siren look. Your fail-safe is the On Tops pointed stiletto, with a rainbow of colours available you can have a pair to match every outfit.
Make a statement with a glittery Sapphire platform sandal with jewel detailing. This style is best paired with a simple, one colour look to make the shoes really stand-out.
To coincide with the launch of our Autumn/Winter 14 collection we had 3 great days shooting the campaign in an East London studio, close to OFFICE HQ.
We had 2 great models, Emma and Charlie, stylists, hair and make up team, photographers and even a cute pooch called Stanley running around, keeping us all thoroughly entertained.
With rails of clothes in an array of autumnal colours and racks of all our latest shoes it was like diving into Aladdin’s cave surrounded by new season treasures. This season has some style classics like Chelsea boots, patent knee high boots, loafers and brogues with some stand out metallic high heels for the girls.
Key looks that stood out for the girls were ’70’s styling, boxy and masculine tailoring and muted colours. The boys have more of a rugged gentleman look with loose tailoring, oversized outerwear and flashes of heritage tweeds.
With so many great looks, inspiring footwear and ideas on how to wear, Autumn/Winter 14 has got us super excited and as much as we aren’t too keen on the winter weather, it does mean we can invest in a new season wardrobe!
As you would expect, a few of us here at Office HQ are serious shopping addicts. While this isn’t always good news for our bank balances, it does mean we can point you in the direction of the best places to splash your cash.
Here’s our guide to the best shopping cities in the UK. Just make sure you book your trips for near pay day!
Best for independents: Bristol
If you crave something a bit different, Bristol is the shopping destination for you. The city’s streets are packed with independent stores and boutiques selling everything from clothes to records and books.
Our top picks include the simply named ‘Shop’ which sells everything from second-hand vinyl and homeware to furniture and fashion. Also visit the family-run Bamonte clothing, whose owners travel to the likes of Paris and Milan to source their latest pieces. The chances of you bumping into someone in the same outfit as you if you shop here? Pretty low.
Best for high-end shops: Leeds
Harvey Nichols chose Leeds as the location for its first store outside of London for a reason. This city boasts dozens of high-end shops brimming with designer labels. For the best high-end attire head to the stunning Victoria Quarter – a truly luxurious shopping arcade.
With All Saints, The Kooples and Vivienne Westwood all sitting under one roof, it’s definitely somewhere to visit if you are looking to blow the budget.
Best shopping centre: Birmingham Bullring
Some people prefer the Trafford Centre while others swear by Meadowhall, but for us there’s only one place to head if you want to find all your favourites under one roof – the Bullring in Birmingham. Not only does it have pretty much every high street and department store you can think of, it has super-sized versions, which are almost certain to have that dress you’ve been lusting after online.
Our favourite shop (except our own of course!) has to be Selfridges. Four floors of clothes, shoes, handbags, cosmetics and of course the legendary Food Hall.
Best all rounder: London
We couldn’t have a best shopping cities list without featuring our beloved capital. Whether you want quirky boutiques, high street favourites or giant shopping centres, London can cater to your every retail whim.
Whether you want to join the crowds on Oxford Street, window shop in Mayfair, escape the rain at Westfield or hit the independents in Shoreditch, there’s sure to be something to suit your tastes.
For something a bit different, Shoreditch is home to the world’s first pop-up mall, Boxpark, while there are bargains to be had in upmarket Notting Hill if you pop by Portobello Market.
Now, where’s our credit card!
Are you one of the many festival revellers who have put your wellies away now the season is coming to an end? Well, we have you know that those rubbery boots are much more than just a pair of stylish mud lovers.
Whether you’ve left them behind in a welly henge or you’re wondering what on earth you’ll do with them now, fear not, we may have had a lovely summer but this is the United Kindom.
Showers and snow will surely bless our shores this autumn/winter and with over 100 styles at OFFICE, there’s no excuse for wet feet. And yes, the welly is a practical staple for the seasons ahead but does that mean (other than festivals and rainy days) should they be hidden away?
At OFFICE we think not. Making a great impression on the catwalks and a favourite amongst celebrities, the welly boot has become an all-year-round fashion must have. Whilst remianing comfortable the welly boot comes in a burst of colour and patterns and is perfect for a chic or understated look.
Not bad for just a welly, eh?
