3 ways to wear OTK boots

Thursday, October 22nd, 2015

Over the knee boots are THE boots to be seen in this Autumn/Winter and we have a variety of styles to see you through in style. But how to wear them? We have whittled it down to 3 definitive ways to wear to keep you looking stylish no matter what the occasion.

knee highs

By Day: Take your cue from Hailey Baldwin and work some sky high OTK’s like these Eve boots, with high shine leggings and an oversized sweat for a real downtime/high fashion look.

For Work: Flatter styles work well for the office as demonstrated by Amber Le Bon. A 60s dress and tailored blazer will add a sophisticated feel to these Eden boots.

By Night: OTK’s really come into their own at night. Make like Jessica Alba and add an 80s touch in a slinky glitzy shift. Our Neve style is the perfect boot to get this hot look.

Hot for Halloween

Monday, October 19th, 2015

Its that time of year again when the pumpkins come out and the perfect excuse to dress up and get creative. With Halloween parties lining up its time to get your outfit sorted and more importantly what shoes you are going to wear!

You are usually pretty safe with black or red shoes for the occasion but if you would rather go for a more subtle nod to the undead rather than a head to toe number then we have the perfect Halloween style shoes to get you looking gothic and glam.

Halloween

Wednesday Addams is a pretty fail-safe look and lets face it, it never gets old and looks so fabulously chic! Pop on a black pinafore with a white blouse underneath, pigtails, knee high black socks and either some Dr Martens 3 Eye Lace Ups or the dolly style Dioon Buckle Shoes. These shoes will also look great with a broken doll look or zombie schoolgirl, plus we love wearing these all year round!

Vampires as we know are always fierce (R.Pattz mmmmm) so our Victoriana inspired Intoxicate boots will look super sexy with a vampy look and don’t forget the blood red lips!

The over the knee boot is the shoe of the season and you need a pair in your wardrobe so you might as well use them to your advantage for All Hallows Eve. Perfect for a superhero or Catwoman, this stand out Eve boots will make a statement even without the costume!

For the ladies who would rather take a slightly subtler approach, then the new Trouble High Back Point Court or Tipple Cut Out Heel are great gothic inspired heels that wont bite.

We cant wait to see all your Halloween looks, make sure to tag @officeshoes so we can see what you are wearing.

#FROW – What to Wear @ London Fashion Week SS16

Thursday, September 17th, 2015

With London Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow, its seems only fitting that we share the best #FROW looks from New York to give you a head start and become part of the fash pack.

Frow

We have picked our top looks from the last week and paired them with our top footwear picks to get you looking front row ready.

Take things to new heights like Jourdan Dunn and rock a pair of Neve over the knee boots with some denim shorts and a long sleeved top for that ultimate 70’s siren look.

Stomp around in style like Hailey Baldwin in some classic Timberland boots, we are loving the grey nubuck pair this season and they look super cute with muted pastel colours.

Make sure you have a statement pair of flats as they are a fashion week staple. If you are lucky enough to be running between fashion shows, then a classic pointed ballet flat like our Lifestyle in white will be you best friend for long days.

If you are a trainer girl and can’t live without them, a pair of smart adidas Gazelle OG‘s will look great with a long midi dress and leather jacket.

How to Wear – Over the Knee Boots (OKB)

Friday, October 24th, 2014

It is the style of the season and we have been praying for the winter weather so we can show them off.

The leg lengthening, over the knee boot is you statement must-have for AW14 and not only looks super stylish, but keeps you pretty cosy on cold days.

It would seem that only tall girls can get away with this look but petite girls should not be afraid as there is a style of OKB to suit all.

The blessed, longer limbed girls can easily rock a pair of flat, thigh skimming Nova 2 boots with some tight skinnies and thick knit jumper.

Petite ladies, the pointed Neve or Nouveau 2  boot with a slim heel is perfect matched with high hemlines, thick tights and an oversized blouse. You can also take on some boyish styling with the chunky Notorious boot, that you can slouch down with some classic blue skinny jeans.

Girls with wider calves, fear not, the Antiquity Stretch boot has a premium leather upper with an elastic back panel for a slim, comfortable fit. Wear with a pleated skirt and soft, fluffy jumper for a feminine and flattering look.

How to Wear Knee Boots

Thursday, October 9th, 2014

The cold days have arrived just when we had got used to having lovely warm weather well into Autumn. However with cold weather comes lots of layers, cosy knits and an excuse to wear all types of boot.

We will always love the transitional ankle boot but this winter we are taking things to new heights with knee high and over the knee boots. Taking influence from the 70s, this stand out style come in many forms, such as the equestrian inspired riding boot, the buckled biker and the sumptuous suede thigh high.

This season is all about keeping warm and premium leather, soft suede and shearling lining will help keep those legs a little cosier this winter.

Make a style statement with the slouchy suede Nova thigh boot, great with high hemlines, thick jumper dresses and super skinny jeans.

Pair a classic riding boot like the cuffed All Out or polished Agent 2 with thick leggings and an oversized jumper. This smart boot never goes out of fashion and will take you through until next spring.

Channel a bit of Dolly Parton at Glasto and go for the Nevada fringe boot which looks cute worn with a prom style skirt and boyish sweatshirt.

Toughen up your everyday look with a biker like the Nifty buckle boot, wear with black skinnies, crisp, white shirt and this seasons must have blanket coat.
