2016 vs 2017

Friday, January 6th, 2017

2016 was the year of all things pastel colours, slip on loafers, metallic finishes, our favourite trainers classics making a come back and the bob hair cut. 🙂

You loved it and we loved it. Here’s the run down of what 2016 looked like and what to expect this coming year!

Pastel tones were a huge hit last year and thankfully for those of us who have filled our wardrobes with all shades of nudes and pink, this trend isn’t going anywhere! Feminine features such as delicate embroidery and studs will be seen on ankle boots and flats this year. A lovely way to add some subtle detail to an outfit. Velvet will also continue to make huge impact this year creating a feel of luxury to those everyday outfits. Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect from us this year. Be ready, its going to be awesome!

On Location – Teen Spirit Trend Shoot

Thursday, May 2nd, 2013

Our summer magazine will be hitting stores in early May and for those of you that are waiting in anticipation, here’s a teaser. On location for our ‘Teen Spirit’ trend shoot, we ventured to The Master Shipwright’s House, South London.

This huge and beautiful location boasts 5 centuries of history and has been hugely popular with TV, fashion and celebrities including music videos for The Wanted, Florence and the Machine and is where Mario Testino shot his infamous images of Kate Moss. It’s also been used to film UK dramas ‘Luther’ and ‘Whitechapel’.

The house is full of rooms with stripped-down walls, quirky props and huge windows which gave amazing natural light, perfect for shooting. Nesting on the side of the Thames, and just seven minutes from London Bridge, it was hard to believe this building lived amongst the chaos of London.

The location also has lots of outdoor space with a charismatic hut sitting near the river. We loved the contrast of the dockyard and cityscape that sat behind it. And of course, all this space perfectly accommodated the shoot and the lovely food.

To see the final snaps of our ‘Teen Spirit’ shoot, keep a look out for the summer magazine. And don’t forget, we have four magazines out each year full of behind the scenes, the hottest trends and our favourite shoes.

Athletic Aesthetic SS12 Trend at OFFICE Shoes

Combining super modern elements with a sports influence this Spring Summer make way for a fresh take on seasonal dressing. Sleek lines and directional styling are key players, with flashes of colour and futuristic finishes creating a trend that goes the distance. The look transcends to luxurious and glossy fabrics cut on modern shapes; opt for a high-shine patent brogue elevated on a flatfform for added finesse. Clean and sharp lines sprint across heels, with injections of colour and flashes of vinyl making a statement on Mary-Jane’s and t-bars. Colour blocking is updated on androgynous loafers complete with contrast laces and soles in hot pink and ice rink blue. Cut outs make an elegant flourish, lending a restrained touch of confident femininity; choose from futuristically slick silver or interlinked stars on sandals to create a modish take on the look.
