Once upon a time, an enchanting collection of OFFICE shoes lay waiting to be discovered…

But this is no ordinary fairytale – a dark and mysterious mood has blown in. Flowers have wilted and the room is dark with only a flicker of light illuminating lustrous curved wedge courts and glitter-coated platforms coloured in pewter and fawn. And as the clock strikes midnight and dawn approaches, princess bow peep toes and crystal encrusted courts in brooding shades of crimson and sapphire finally fall under the spell.

We were lucky enough to score a last minute ticket to the JW Anderson show at the NewGen space last night.
JW is the current much coveted Irish designer who has just launched a womenswear collaboration with Topshop
After a mad dash home and a room trashing later, we were ready to head into town.
A quick champers pit stop was made at the re-launched Selfridges menswear designer space.
|
| Selfridges had commissioned Architect Alex Cochrane who had re vamped the space and the men’s team also showcased ‘The Desirables’ a collection of archived menswear pieces. Two of the most eye-catching, were two Givenchy jackets designed for the late Michael Jackson to be worn on the ‘This is It’ tour. |
A couple of cocktails later, it was time to hot step it to the show space held in Bedford Square Gardens. We quickly took out seats, along with FROWers Suzie Bubble, Azealia Banks and Pixie Geldof. The lights dimmed and the show started.
The theme of the show was ‘The Treatment Room’; a place where things distort and re –shuffle and where fabrics are engineered into garments. There was a ‘personal urgency’ to strip back fashion to garments with an edge. Patterns are refined, tailoring and masculine elements are mixed with feminine colours and drapery.

| OFFICE is proud to present ffoR. A brand new style concept developed independently for the fashion savvy male.
ffoR follows a simple formula; premium + design = effortless style.
The focus is on quality leather and suede, uncomplicated silhouettes and fine detailing; so that every element is perfect. Inspired by Scandinavian design this range has universal appeal with an original edge. Styles are fashion forward; find Asgard, Elves, Midgard, Odin and Jord.
ffoR is available in two minimal colour options; black and grey, with the exception of the wildcard; the teal Asgard chukka boot. ffoR combines sharply crafted uppers with starkly contrasted coloured soles, giving a flash of colour and a hint of eccentricity, making the range anything but subtle. |
