Converse have not only stayed a style staple for as long as we can all remember but they have also shown us that no matter what colours and materials they come in they always look amazing!
As quickly as London Fashion Week arrived, it flew by us in whirl wind of street style, runway walks and some serious posing. The one thing that caught our eye was the fact that a lot of fashionistas and bloggers a-like were pairing their show stopper outfits with a killer pair of Converse. Check out some of our most recent favourite looks.
So we’re already reminiscing about London Fashion Week and The Brit Awards. It came, we saw, it conquered. The weather may not have been amazing but that did not stop people from showing us exactly what they’re all about. We spotted some celebs in full fashionista mode wearing their staple converse, fresh out the box . We think they looked amazing!

Head to our New In section for the latest must have styles so you can keep up with the In Crowd.
We wanted to give you a Flash Back Friday blog post on what we’d been getting up to in the past couple weeks. With new season shoes being introduced into stores we’ve all been really busy, however that didn’t stop us from taking some time to pop down to LCM to see what the buzz on the street was.
Here are some of our favourite looks. Mixing street casuals, tailored shirts and jackets is a perfect way to keep your outfit edgy.
On Saturday 19 September, Hunter Original celebrated its iconic connection with music festivals, with a SS16 collection that took its inspiration from the muddy fields.
Held in Euston Station Parcel Deck, London, the ripstop tent interior of the setting, complete with guy ropes, referenced the unmistakable landscape of the festival fields, and the looks themselves, drew on the spirit of the most epic festival experience.
Hunterpresented the ultimate festival journey, featuring the tools to survive whatever the climate throws at you. From the early highs of a sun-soaked main stage, to the after-hours downpour where adventure begins. Lightweight nylon fabrics and Hunter sneakers were introduced, alongside waterproof rubber and vinyl jackets. Technical performance soles were fixed onto soft suede uppers and bags were crafted with welded seams to offer the definitive weather-resistant accessory. Colours evoked hazy summer sunsets, sun-bleached dégradés in sorbet and lilac, alongside dusty neutrals.
Closing the show, the Original Clog, a new Hunter icon was launched.
Prior to today’s show, Hunter introduced #Beaheadliner Mobile Sessions – a new arm of immersive and interactive content on Periscope. Directly tapping into the theme of the show, the sessions featured exclusive performances by some of the most exciting emerging musicians in the UK today.
With London Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow, its seems only fitting that we share the best #FROW looks from New York to give you a head start and become part of the fash pack.
We have picked our top looks from the last week and paired them with our top footwear picks to get you looking front row ready.
Take things to new heights like Jourdan Dunn and rock a pair of Neveover the knee boots with some denim shorts and a long sleeved top for that ultimate 70’s siren look.
Stomp around in style like Hailey Baldwin in some classic Timberland boots, we are loving the grey nubuck pair this season and they look super cute with muted pastel colours.
Make sure you have a statement pair of flats as they are a fashion week staple. If you are lucky enough to be running between fashion shows, then a classic pointed ballet flat like our Lifestyle in white will be you best friend for long days.
If you are a trainer girl and can’t live without them, a pair of smart adidas Gazelle OG‘s will look great with a long midi dress and leather jacket.
Yesterday saw the end of London Fashion Week where the best of British design talent showcased their AW15 collections and the fash pack were out in full force giving us styling tips for the new season.
Despite the cold British weather, stylists, bloggers and journalists were dressed to impress as they hung out around Somerset House waiting for the next show to begin.
Sportswear was a big hit this year and everywhere you looked you could see the classic shell-toe adidas Superstar on men and women. Dressed up with tailored trousers and cocoon coats or dressed down with ripped boyfriend jeans and thick knitwear, the Superstar was a firm fashion favourite.
Points, slip-ons and mules were also dominating the style set this season and it seemed everyone was loving the retro 70s look, opting for camel coats, flares and paisley prints.
To coincide with the launch of LFW on Friday 20th we teamed up with Vans to host a VIP gifting event at the ME hotel, a stones throw from Somerset House and in the heart of all the action. In the evening we took key members of press, plus a load of competition winners to our first #OFFICEHOUSEPARTIESevent at the House of Vans London, find out more about the night here > http://bit.ly/1upyEjJ
On Friday 20th we had the pleasure of attending Jean Pierre Braganza in the main tent at Somerset House and we realised early on we wanted one of everything. Taking his inspiration from fighter jets and film noir the collection consisted of oversized tees, fur trimmed aviator jackets and wide legged slacks. We would wear this power vixen collection with our black Pitch Point mule, Naughty Thigh High boot or Precious shoe boot.
It was an early start on Sunday 22nd as we heading to the Institute of Contemporary Arts on The Mall to attend the Palmer // Harding show and presentation. Wearing our new Lance Monk shoe the models looked like Russian dolls in heavy wool coats, high neck shirts and embroidered dresses with their hair in milk-maid braids.
On Monday evening we attended the Hunter Original show at the Albert Embankment warehouse where Alasdhair Willis put on a visual masterpiece with models walking in amongst cascading water. Giving the feel of a wet British winter the models were wrapped up in thick outerwear, oversized trousers and of course the trusty waterproof rubber welly in many forms.
LFW definately went off with a bang and we cannot wait until next season.
The excitement of fashion week is buzzing through all our twitter feeds and favourite blogs and whether you’re gearing up to start charging about at Somerset House from one show to another or shopping the new collections ready for the season ahead, we all need a selection of shoes to choose from that will get us through the busy days.
UGG Australia is guaranteed to give you the best of both worlds, keeping you looking top of the class in the style and comfort stakes.
Here are our recommendations of the styles to go shop from the current collection…
FOR THE LOVE OF SHEEPSKIN – Jocelin – OFFICE Exclusive
This is the season for sheepskin. The Jocelin boot with an exposed sheepskin cuff will have you right on trend in comfort. Overload a laid back outfit by piling on your jewels and suddenly casual never looked so good!
The Classic Mini is a firm favourite with the fashion set on those down days when you just need to be yourself. Try yours with other long loved items, such as leopard print and a denim shirt flung around the waist. It’s the best way to wear a look that’s casual yet cool.
UGG Australia and Office will be teaming up later this week with the wildest blogger of them all, Bip Ling, to bring you a round up of all the coolest looks in London during the ultimate week in the UK fashion calendar. Don’t forget to follow @OfficeShoeson Twitter, officeshoes on Instagram and visit office.co.uk for street style updates.
Fashion week frenzy is well and truly upon us and we are loving the celebs gracing the streets and FROW’s. Be inspired by Cara and Poppy Delevingne who are always ones to watch during fashion month. Their smart, tomboy-esque ensembles are easy to translate and can be dressed up with heels or mannish boots. Another fashion muse to watch is Langley Fox Hemingway. We love how she’s teamed her utilitarian jumpsuit with some glam ankle boots, creating a unique look worthy of any front row.
Keep your eyes peeled for all of our London Fashion Week coverage coming up this week. Share
AW14 Fashion week is over so, we’re taking the opportunity to look back at what we’ve seen and been up to over the last week since it started.
To start with, when choosing a LFW outfit it’s important to look eye catching and absolutely fabulous – you never know where and who might ‘pap’ you after all! Here at HQ we gave you our top choices of footwear for the week that would get you noticed and keep you bang on trend. Otherwise known as our LFW Faves!Consisting of flats, boots, heels and brogues there’s something for everyone no matter your itinerary for the week. Brogues for rushing from show to show, boots for when the weather turned bad and the all important heel for the after show parties.
Some of our very own from HQ went down to Somerset House to do a spot of street style, style hunting. We were on the look out for show attendees in a pair of OFFICE shoes as well as celebs who happened to pass by. Pastels were a big theme and favourite along with the brogue in both heel and flat styles. Ultimately, everyone looked great! Some were a bit more alternative than others and some went for classic fashionista chic. The mix of people was amazing, which only added to the buzzing atmosphere.
Nina Nesbitt also gave us the opportunity to see LFW from the front row. Taking instagram snaps of her day at the shows, she later shared them with us so we could see what she got up to. Looking glamorous and beautiful as always and dressed head to toe in ‘Joseph’ we saw her outfit that she wore to the show. We also got a couple sneak peeks of her at the shows on the front row, back home getting ready to go and a cheeky snap with designer Julian Macdonald. Thanks Nina! Looks like you had an amazing time, we are well and truly jealous!
February 2014 saw designers from all over flood to London for a week of glam clothes, starry celebs and raucous after parties. Now having drawn to a close we can be sure that AW14 is looking set to be anything other than dark and dreary. Going by the shows we’ve seen, we’ll be looking forward to rocking some faux fur, bright colours and bold all over prints when Autumn hits down.
