| When we set out on our first in-store event up to Glasgow we all got rather excited, what might we find? When we arrived there was a cue of girls stretching down the street and a real buzz in the air. After all this time in the making it was good to finally meet some of the girls in person….we were far from disappointed. |

| At some point throughout Saturday’s mammoth scouting event in Glasgow, nearly every person in our tram tried to scout Ms. Leanne Jeffries. At 5′10 and rocking a girl about town look on her lunch break from American Apparell, she caught our eye from a mile away. Her relaxed, naturally friendly and upbeat personality was infectious. |

Q. What attracted you to partnering with Office and Union in this competition?
A. The partnership with Office works brilliantly as our brands are perfectly aligned: fashion forward, fun and accessible.
We’ve also worked closely with Union models since we launched in 2007 so we know the high standard they look for in a model. |

Q. What sort of exciting things do you have planned for the winner?
A. We’ll be styling a catwalk show for the final 12 contestants, which will be a great way to judge the girls and see how they come alive in next season’s looks. The winner will then go on to model in a fashion or beauty story featuring the hottest trends on the high street. |

Q. What does it take to do a beauty and fashion shoot for Look magazine?
A. A good model has more than just a striking face and body. They need to have a creative intuition and the ability to understand the mood/style of each shoot. An easy going personality is a must- no diva’s please! |

Q. Tell us a bit more about what is going to be happening behind the scenes at the beauty/fashion shoot for Look magazine?
A. Depending on the location a shoot usually starts at around 9am. After discussing the mood and style of the shoot the model has her hair & make-up done and is dressed by the stylist from the team. We usually shoot 4 different looks for beauty and 8 for fashion. We love to work to music to create an atmosphere and although they are hard work, shoots are generally really good fun! |
